The cash fee you need to know about
This is the part operators don’t advertise loudly. Every one-day tour on this site excludes the park entry fee. You pay it in cash when the boat reaches the harbour or on the boat itself, roughly $22 per person. Some operators publish different numbers on their own GetYourGuide pages — one lists Rp 400,000 (roughly $25), another lists IDR 650,000 for a three-day ticket. Bring rupiah in cash. Do not expect card payment at the ranger post.

Private tours and multiday options
The private tour starts at $145 and runs 13 hours. It’s new with only one review, so you’re one of the first. The eight-stop sunset tour is $203 for 12 hours with eight stops instead of four. Both add the same cash park fee on the day.
If one day isn’t enough, the multiday boats run longer and break up the pace. The 2-day/1-night shared boat is $180 and includes the park entry fee when you select that option. The 3-day sailing tour is $334 and excludes park fees but includes many more stops and a photographer on board.
How to budget the whole trip
The tour price is not the full cost. Factor in flights to Labuan Bajo, accommodation, and meals in town. Once you’re on the boat, the tour covers lunch. Bring enough rupiah for the $19–$24 cash fee, drinks and snacks on the boat if you want them, and a tip for your guide if the day was good. Tips are customary but never required — tip what you feel the experience was worth.
The most popular tour is the $93 flagship — it’s the best value once you factor in the day length and what’s included. Book early; spots fill up in July and August, and the dry season can close down at 1,000 visitors a day.
