Marios noted: we got lucky to see 5 Komodo dragons, even though it was mating season. You will walk behind a ranger carrying a forked stick. The dragons are accustomed to guided groups, and the ranger controls the distance. Dragon sightings are never guaranteed, but ranger-led walks are how this works.

Will I see Komodo dragons?

What about manta rays?

Wild and never guaranteed. Jessica saw turtles, manta rays and coral reef fish on her trip, but Manta Point delivers mantas only when the ocean conditions and animal behaviour align.
